Belkıs Aksu is based in Skopje. She illustrates atlases and picture books for children. She also draws a graphic novel called ''Aslında Yüzü Güzel'' means ''but her face is beautiful'' and is about growing up a fat teenager in early 2000s. She also writes and illustrates a webcomic series about her life as an illustrator. Since 2020, she's been hosting online illustration workshops at the İllüstrasyon Kulübü. She runs Yufi Art Studio with two fellow artists.

She enjoys playing video games, cycling, and baking. She is married and has a tabby cat named Minnoş.
